continuing to get caught up ...

So after Christmas was the New Year which was followed immediately with Passion 2011 in Atlanta, GA!
I had such an amazing time.  At Passion, there were 22,000 college students in one location all because of their love and desire to make much of God.  It was so awesome to worship and learn from some incredible pastors.  The line up was the following: Louie Giglio, Francis Chan, Andy Stanley, John Piper, & Beth Moore.  As always, John Piper has a special place in my heart. He was incredible! His sermon started by asking this question, "Do we God because he makes much of us or because he always us to make much of him, and ultimately find our joy through his glorification/magnificiation?" He immediately slaps you in the face with the first sentence of his sermon. The passion he has I am certain will remain in his heart through the remainder of his life.  Through Christ, he is so incredible!  I also got to hear some interesting sermons from Gabe Lyons & Ben Stuart during the breakout sessions.  Ben Stuart was by far my favorite.  He was just a very practical preacher.  He spoke on Fighting for Holiness.  While we were there, me and Hunt decided that we wanted to sponsor a Compassion International child.  So we did! His name is Mugisha Yves.  His birthday is 1.1.2002 and he lives in Rwanda, Africa.  He is so beautiful and we can't wait to start getting letters from him and his family.  That pretty much sums it up ...

Mugisha!! It means Blessing ..aparently
